Could This Work for Me?

Insight Sessions are a powerful way to gain clarity and direction, but they are not a substitute for long-term therapy or crisis intervention. If you’re dealing with ongoing mental health struggles, complex trauma, or a need for crisis support, a more structured therapeutic approach may be necessary. These sessions are not designed for individuals in immediate distress—if you are experiencing a crisis, please call 911 or seek emergency support.

However, if you’re looking for focused, solution-oriented guidance, an Insight Session could be a great fit. These sessions are particularly helpful for:

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

An Insight Session is a focused, single-session therapy appointment designed to help you gain clarity, direction, and actionable guidance on a specific concern. Unlike traditional ongoing therapy, this session provides immediate support and insight in a one-time, solution-oriented format.

We offer Insight Sessions both in-office and virtually to ensure accessibility and convenience. Depending on availability, you may be able to book a session within 24 hours.  Virtual sessions are offered at select times outside normal business hours and on weekends.

Insight Sessions are designed for:

  • Gaining clarity on a specific life challenge
  • Exploring options when facing a major decision
  • Getting professional guidance without committing to ongoing therapy
  • Receiving support for stress, relationship concerns, or career challenges
  • Feeling heard and validated in a safe, non-judgmental space

While Insight Sessions can be incredibly effective, they are not suitable for:

  • Crisis situations or emergency mental health needs – If you are in crisis, please call 911 or seek emergency services immediately.
  • Long-term therapeutic work – These sessions provide insight, but they do not replace structured, ongoing therapy.
  • Managing complex trauma or severe mental health concerns – If you need ongoing support, a more comprehensive therapy plan may be necessary.
  • Legal or medical evaluations – Insight Sessions are not designed for court-mandated therapy, disability evaluations, or medical diagnoses.

Insight Sessions are priced as follows:

  • 50-minute session – $175
  • 80-minute session – $225

Insight Sessions are highly focused, intensive, and solution-driven. Because they are designed to deliver meaningful guidance in a single session, it requires a specialized therapeutic approach. This approach provides you with immediate, high-value support in a way that traditional therapy does not.

Insight Sessions are non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule, we offer a one-time opportunity to move your session to another available time.  To reschedule, please call or email info@irethinktherapy.com.

We do not accept insurance or bill insurance companies. However, we will provide you with the necessary documents to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. Please note that we do not maintain relationships with insurance companies or handle reimbursement on your behalf.

No. Insight Sessions are open to both new and existing clients. You do not need to be an existing client at Rethink Therapy to schedule a session.

Depending on availability, you may be able to schedule an Insight Session within 24 hours. Sessions are available during business hours, with some evening and weekend appointments offered.

Many clients leave an Insight Session feeling clearer, lighter, and more confident about their next steps. If you decide you’d like additional support, we can discuss options for ongoing therapy or additional mental health resources that can provide ongoing support.
